This home is located beneath the Hollywood sign — and is stepped in celebrity stories.

An address said to be the residence of the late bombshell Marilyn Monroe, this property is part of the famed Chateau Beachwood complex. And now it’s for sale.

Live among the ghosts of some of the most well-known stars in American history at this two-bedroom townhome.

The French Normandy-style crib was not only once the apparent lodging of Marilyn Monroe — but Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich are also rumored to have previously lived in the compound, according to ACME Real Estate listing agent — and previous tenant — Marlena Maidhof, who holds the $899,000 listing

The 10-building complex was built for glamour, having been constructed in 1937 for the express purpose of housing Warner Brothers Studios’ starlets. Although the Golden Age actresses are believed to have resided there, Madonna, Sean Penn, John Cusack and Anne Heche are confirmed as former Chateau Beachwood residents, Maidhof told The Post.

In addition to its proximity to the Hollywood sign, it is also adjacent to the pair of stone gates that have marked the entrance to Hollywood since 1923.

“This home has fairy dust all over it from the vintage green bathtub that I imagine Marilyn used to take baths and drink champagne in to the amazing light that floods the space through vintage oversized casement windows,” said Maidhof. “I fell in love and I hope the next owners experience the magic as well.”

The two-bathroom house has period details galore, from the strip oak hardwood floors to the Art Deco balustrade. The lower level features a formal dining area and an all-white, wine fridge-equipped kitchen. There’s also a laundry room and access to the gardens.

Up a set of stairs are the bedrooms, both of which have “wedding cake” relief plasterwork. One bathroom boasts a walk-in shower, and original yellow and purple tilework — while the other has a pink hair sink, a remnant of a former hair salon located below the unit. There’s also a garage with a dark room for developing photos.
